BIG 92.7 FM , BIG CHANDIGARH ANNUAL MARATHON -2016, Season - 4, Event is back. As we already know 92.7 Big FM has completed its three seasons of marathon in the beautiful city Chandigarh. Apart from it, its fourth season is coming back again in this beautiful city. This Marathon already get promoted due to the reinforcement of the various celebrities, who have pledged to run in this Marathon for Chandigarh. People of Chandigarh also interested to participate in such type of big events, as we take the review from the past Marathon.
Big Chandigarh Marathon would be held in the month of March. All the details of this mega event is as mentioned below.
Detail of Big Chandigarh Marathon 2016 – Season 4
- Date : 13th March , 2016.
- Time : 6.00 AM onwards.
- Venue : Rock Garden, Chandigarh.
- Theme : Run for Smart City.
Apart from it , Big Chandigarh Marathon 2016 - Season 4, will also cover topics of Global Climate Change which includes an interdict on plastic bags, smart traffic in the city, smart beggar free city, smart E-city, smart gender equality to make the Chandigarh most modern , peaceful , prosperous & smart city.

Running event detail of Big Chandigarh Marathon 2016 – Season 4
In Big Chandigarh Marathon 2016 – Season 4, the actual running distance would be that of a Half – Marathon. There would be a separate race for the smart city.

1. Half Marathon:
- 21.1Kms
- Entry is open for professional runners Males, Females and Senior Citizens.
- Entry fee for Half Marathon is mandatory ( i.e. Rs. 500/-).
- Race would be start at 6:00 AM on 13th March, 2016 from Rock Garden.
2. Run for Smart City:
- 5Kms.
- Entry is open to all.
- Entry fee for smart city run for all voluntary is Rs. 100/- .
- Race would be start at 8:00 AM on 13th March, 2016 from Rock Garden.
How to Participate in Big Chandigarh Marathon 2016 – Season 4
In order to participate and run in the Marathon registration is mandatory.
Registration can be done online by filling a short form on http://bigchandigarhmarathon.com and can be registered via giving a Missed Call on 1800-3010-1927.
Some celebrities who are associated with 92.7 Big FM’s Chandigarh Marathon include Sonam Kapoor (Actress), Sangram Singh (Wrestler), Arjun Kapoor (Actor) and many more.
8,000 participants participated in the last year’s Big Chandigarh Marathon, 2015. In the coming Marathon more participations of the participants would be expected than the last year.
